a. Account & Authentication Information

• Registered Users: If you register or log in using an email address or third-party authentication services (such as Google Sign-In), we collect your email address, display name, profile photo, and an account provider token to manage your subscription tier and premium access.
• Guest Users: If you use the app anonymously, we generate a secure, randomized identifier tied to your device to manage your limited free credits.

b. Device & Technical Information

We collect device-specific identifiers and metadata to ensure license compliance, prevent fraud, and secure our systems. This includes:

• Device ID, operating system version (Android or iOS), and hardware model name.
• Your IP address (used temporarily for security checks and regional localization).
• FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens to deliver service notifications and system updates.

c. App Permissions & Hardware Usage

Alien Sheet requires specific hardware permissions to execute local utility features. We only access these when explicitly initiated by you:

• Camera Access: Used exclusively to perform local Barcode/QR Scanning and OCR Data Capture (Optical Character Recognition) directly into your spreadsheet cells. Captured images are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Microphone / Record Audio: Used solely to support local voice tools and voice-to-text input. Audio data is processed in real-time on your device and is never recorded or stored.
• File Storage Access: Used to open, read, edit, and save standard .xlsx and custom .hxls spreadsheet files stored locally on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate users, manage premium subscriptions, and grant appropriate access tiers.
• To securely track and decrement free use credits (Saves/Exports) for registered and guest accounts.
• To process payments and manage transactions via Google Play Billing or Apple App Store In-App Purchases.
• To monitor and maintain system security, verify device signatures, and detect malicious clock tempering or piracy attempts.
• To serve tailored, non-intrusive advertisements to free-tier users.
• To deliver crucial service notifications, such as session expirations or subscription updates.

4. Third-Party Services & Ad Networks

To support app functionality, deliver ads, and monitor stability, Alien Sheet integrates several certified third-party SDKs. These networks may collect and process information in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to deliver non-intrusive ads on our free tier. AdMob collects device identifiers, advertising IDs, and regional location data to serve and measure ads.
• Firebase (Google Analytics, Cloud Messaging, App Check): Used to secure our API endpoints against abuse (App Check), manage pushes (Cloud Messaging), and monitor anonymous app usage patterns.
• Sentry (Sentry Flutter): Used to capture and analyze real-time crash reports and performance anomalies, allowing us to maintain app stability. Reports contain technical stack traces and device metadata.
• Google Sign-In: Used to securely authenticate users who choose to register or log in with their Google Accounts.

5. GDPR & US State Privacy Rights (Consent Management)

We respect global privacy standards. If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, or certain US states (such as California under CCPA/CPRA):

• We present a verified User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form upon app startup to collect explicit consent for personalized advertising and data tracking.
• You have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal account data at any time.
• You can manage or withdraw your advertising consent preferences directly within the application's settings or via the consent form.

6. Data Deletion & Account Termination

If you wish to terminate your account and permanently delete all personal data associated with your email from our servers, you can do so easily:

Please send a data deletion request email from your registered email address to support@hybridaliensoftware.uk with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify and purge your account data within 30 days of receipt.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not designed for or targeted at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will immediately take steps to delete it from our systems.
